Clothing:

Light-colored shirt, standard men's business style, buttoned up through collar.

Military uniform jacket, light-colored; wide lapels, epaulets, two breast pockets, patch style, pleated, with buttoned flaps. Rectangular insignia on collar with lettering "Eroica".

Accessories:

Military hat, light color with insignia on front, dark visor.

Dark tie.

Plain ring worn on third finger of right hand.

Comments:

I am including this with No. 2 because it appears to be inspired by costume #7 in this story (though it is not the same outfit; the jacket is different.)

Clothing:

Loose-fitting camisole top, medium color, gathered into narrow top band. Shoulder straps not visible. There are hints of sparkle to the fabric.

Close-fitting, light-colored trousers, with pattern of roses and leaves on outside of left thigh.

Very loose-fitting robe, light-colored gauze with floral pattern of roses and leaves. Long (below mid-calf), worn open. Short, puffed sleeves gathered into bands.

Accessories:

Necklace, to just above top of camisole, of multicolored beads separated into groups.

Heavy bangle bracelet with inscribed pattern, worn on right wrist.

Ring, worn on third finger of right hand. This one looks heavier than the ring worn throughout No. 1, and there is a hint of relief on it.

Sash, of twisted fabric, medium color, probably to match top. It is wound at least twice around the waist and tied in a bow on the left hip, with ends trailing. Hints of sparkle in the fabric.

Comments:

The robe may have its origins in surcoat styles worn as leisure garments in western Europe during the Renaissance. The Renaissance garments were of simlar cut, but made of stiff, heavy fabric.

Clothing:

Sleeveless shirt, turned-down collar, worn open to middle of chest. Described in dialogue as red. Topstitching around armholes and on edges of collar and front opening.

Light-colored, close-fitting trousers, jeans styling. Tucked into boots.

Dark boots, to below knee; low heels.

Accessories:

Scarf around neck, knotted at left.

Plain armband on left bicep.

Wide, patterned cuff bracelet on left wrist.

Plain ring, worn on third finger of right hand.

Dark belt, open rectangular buckle.

Comments:

A typically "flashy" Dorian casual look, guaranteed to annoy stuffy military types.

Loose-fitting top, light-colored, gathered into yoke. Front opening, worn open to middle of chest, with turned-down collar. Full sleeves with fitted cuffs.

Dark trousers, close-fitting, with raised waistline and yoke.

Shoes or boots (prob. the latter), color indeterminate, chunky heels about 1".

Accessories:

Three-strand thin chain necklace.

Plain ring, worn on third finger of right hand.

Comments:

I like this one a lot. Not overly fancy, but stylish and quite dashing. A very effective costume.

During the raid on the West German Embassy.

Clothing:

Dark (probably black) catsuit or close-fitting top and leggings. Short sleeved or sleeveless.

Skin-tight transparent undergarment which covers the lower half of the face and the arms down to the wrists. This could be something like nylon, but apparently has the ability to filter out the soporific vapor used on the Embassy and NATO personnel.

Very loose-fitting domino-style wrap, light-colored, full length, worn open in front. It has wide sleeves, with the ends rolled up to elbow length, and a hood.

Dark boots or shoes, probably to match catsuit. Flat heels.

Accessories:

Short necklace, appears to be of pearls or beads with some kind of small medallion in center.

Wide, patterned bracelet worn on right forearm.

Comments:

More Eroica working garb. The gas-mask undergarment is interesting. Eroica's gang are wearing fairly conventional gas masks, but that wouldn't be stylish enough for Dorian.

Dark, sleeveless shirt, close-fitting, with low, draped neckline.

Light-colored, close-fitting trousers.

Accessories:

Heavy, patterned cuff bracelet on right wrist.

Thin chain bracelet on left wrist.

Plain ring, worn on third finger of right hand.

Sash of medium color; fastening is not visible.

Comments:

A flattering casual outfit.

Disguise worn briefly to snatch Caesar at the German Air Force base.

Clothing:

Light-colored shirt, standard men's business style, buttoned up through collar.

Military uniform jacket, light-colored; double breasted with wide lapels, epaulets, left breast welt pocket.

Uniform trousers, light-colored, creased, with cuffs.

Dark boots with low heels.

Accessories:

Military hat, light color with insignia on front, dark visor.

Comments:

The really mysterious thing about this outfit is how he got out of it. He's fleeing in the car with Caesar and complains about how stuffy the uniform is, and in the next frame he's in costume #8. Assuming he was wearing that under the uniform, wriggling out of the jacket, shirt and tie while driving a speeding Lamborghini is still something of an accomplishment. And when we get to the island, we see that he's wearing different trousers as well! I don't want to know how he did that.

Clothing:

Fitted, sleeveless shirt, light-colored, with yoke; narrow, dark trim around armholes, collar and lapel edges, and lower edges of yoke. Also, small figure, probably embroidered (looks floral, but not much detail is visible) on both sides of front yoke, at lower edge.

Light-colored trousers, close-fitting.

Dark boots.

In image #8b, he is also wearing Mr A's overcoat, courtesy of Klaus. It is light-colored, single-breasted, about knee length, with yoke, belt, topstitching around edges, button trim on yoke. Worn with collar turned up.

Accessories:

Dark belt with open rectangular buckle.

Plain ring, worn on third finger of right hand.

Comments:

Back to a typical Dorian style, after the military disguise in #7. I notice that besides doing the contortionist act to change out of the uniform in a speeding car, he also has put his ring back on -- he wasn't wearing it with the uniform.

Loose-fitting tunic, light-colored, upper thigh length, with draped cowl neckline, long sleeves with wide, turned-back cuffs.

Light-colored trousers or leggings, close-fitting.

Accessories:

Heavy, patterned cuff bracelets, one on each wrist.

Dark belt with rose motif in center front, leaves on each side of it.

Comments:

Back to the soft, draped look. Doesn't look a whole lot warmer than his sleeveless shirt, though.
